Israel is First Contact!
I just realized that Israel's Prime Minister really needs to use the following line in his next speech.
I will not sacrifice [Israel]. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They invade our space and we fall back. They assimilate entire worlds and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further! And *I* will make them pay for what they've done.Tangential thought: Could you imagine how strong the Trek movie franchise would be if all TNG movies were as kick-ass as First Contact?

So will we also find out that Palestinians aren't nearly as cool and creepy as we thought, and are instead just being lead by Alice Krige?

I did not care for First Contact.
Although Star Trek has to work its ass off to get me to like it.
I actually like Alice Krige's perfomance and within the film the borg queen thing works. Within Star Trek it fails. First Contact, like Wrath of Khan, might actually work better as standalone sci-fi.
