Spousal Notification
Is supporting spousal notification of abortion an extreme position? Uh, no, not if you ask Jack and Jane America.
And Gallup, USA TODAY, Princeton, Life Magazine has asked them numerous times.

I'm confused a little. Is "Spousal Notification what it sounds like, ie "you have to tell the father when you get an abortion"? Or is it "The father has some right to stop you from getting said abortion"?
Those are two very different things. Parental notification certainly involves the ability to stop the abortion, whereas I'm unclear with Spousal notification.
If it's the latter then I have to say it's wrong. Even if it's the former it seems to infringe on privacy. If I fathered a child I'd want to know, but I don't have to give birth to it, so... Sucks to be me, even if I want that baby I can't force a woman to have it. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind being told so I could at least plead my case and say "no, I'll be a single dad if you'll go through with the pregnancy." Or something.
