As a former goth I feel the need to mention that the article never stated he was goth. The only reference to him perhaps being connected with the goth culture in any way is the statement, "He began wearing dark clothes, dyed his brown hair black and favored a trench coat, black nail polish and silvery jewelry."
Place blame where it is due, is all I'm sayin'.
