This is easily in my top ten list of all-time stupid trends. And let me also note how silly it is that BBC doesn't use an actual photo of a donkey for their story.

People actually bought donkeys because of that movie? Where do you even get a donkey? Do they have donkey stores?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, kids flushed their fish down the toilet after "Finding Nemo" because "all drains lead to the ocean." Regardless of that, freshwater fish (which I have always had) can't live in the ocean. Hell, they can't live in L.A. water after letting it sit overnight.
