Stop. Please just stop. I know you hate Social Security, and I know you hate the New Deal, and the public schools, and the government in general, but please please please if you're going to axe this stuff than have the cajones to just cut the programs rather than running up deficits my Grandchildren will be paying off in order to shove the knife in from behind. It will be cheaper and more intellectually honest.

I remember back in the day when Republicans believed in balanced budgets and state's rights, and there were at least a few things I could agree with them on. They seem truly intent on cutting everything I like out of their platform. Sad, really.
