Bagely Sandwich
I was reading through my old comics, the official pass time of comic fans who are home for Christmas, and stumbled upon the original "Carnage" storyline in the Spidey books. I laughed to myself at having been so excited to own it in the first place, and then realized that it was drawn by Mark Bagely. This makes Bagely the only artist to draw the original incarnation of a character and their Ultimate update. And unless Jack Kirby starts drawing the Ultimates from beyond the grave, or Frank Miller signs on for Ultimate Elektra Strikes Back, this will probably remain so for a good long while.

I love Mark Bagley. The first issue of Amazing Spider-Man I bought was Mark Bagley's first issue as regular penciler. He was on the title for 65 issues. I kept buying the title long after he left, but it was never quite the same. Which is why when he was announced as the penciler for Ultimate I was extremely excited. Bagley's been the primary regular penciler on the only two Spider-books I have regularly followed. So, despite all his obvious artistic shortcomings, he is my personal artisitc version of the character.

I would just like to say as a person who had bought an incredible amount of graphic novels in Edmonchuck, I think it is totally unfair that I have very few "old" comics here in Nova Scotia. And if we want to have a boredom war about being home and bored, I would like to point out the fact that I live in a town that is on a Highway. And to just drive in the point of how bored I am is the fact that I am posting this stupid comment in the first place. Sorry guys but I have to do something.
