Mom thinks X-men innapropriate
Well, maybe, but I don't think Morrison's run is too much for a middle schooler. But most importantly, a girl was reading comics.

Gee, what a great parent. Screw encouraging a special ed kid to read. We don't want to make parents actually communicate with their children!
And actually the New Xmen was super good and not something a 12 year old wouldn't understand. I remember being 12. And sure, I wasn't in special Ed, but I think this girl understands more than her mom gives her credit for. Man, that lady is insane. I'm wondering if that's why the girl is 'special'
I mean, I grant her violence and I assume "erotic material" would be any panel with Emma Frost, but "talk of molestation?" I'm going to have to re-read "Imperial," it looks like. Plus, she's a girl. Why would she give a crap if Emma Frost wears no clothes?
I'd re-read the third hardcover, but Laurel and Trumbo have apparently decided to keep it indefinitely.
That mom is living in the world of Fahrenheit 451. She needs to get a life.
What? Do we still have it? I thought Trumbo returned it. He must have it because I gave it back to him. I deny all involvement.
If I give it back will you loan me other good books? (Which I will actually return.)
