Why is the first movie in a gold box? Are they trying to trick you into thinking it's good?
Yeah, the gold box bothers me too. I think they did that because the first one is a "Director's Edition" and all the rest are just "Collector's Editions." Needless to say, all the rest are way better.
All that said, I can't wait to watch VI -- and then re-watch it with the brillian Nicholas Meyer commentary.
Is it bas if we're the only people who comment in our blog?
You're not the only ones to comment on it. I can't believe you're going to watch Star Trek though. It bothers me that one box is gold and the rest aren't too. Those things should all match.
OOoooo. I haven't seen II or VI in so long it'll make you cry. Make this a party. I will bring bean dip* if this is a party.
*bean dip replaceable by microwave popcorn at a moment's notice.
Star Trek II and IV are by far the best ones. IV is my favorite.
On an unrelated ST note, isn't it SO annoying when people call Star Trek "Star TRAK"? Yuck.
joy
Hey, guess who has been meaning to see II for the longest time. Yeah, over here.
